E-mail Setup: Mozilla Thunderbird
Below are the steps required to get your email account setup in Mozilla Thunderbird. You can print this guide if you would find it easier to follow along.
Open Mozilla Thunderbird and click on Tool.
Click on Account Settings...
Click on Add Account...
Select Email Account then click Next.
Type in your name in box next to Your Name: then click type your email address
in the box next to Email Address: then click Next.
In the box next to Incoming Server: type mail.imaxmail.net then
click next.
Type in your username in the box next to Incoming User Name: and Outgoing User
Name: and click on Tool.
Click Next.
Check to see that your Outgoing Server Name (SMTP) says mail.imaxmail.net. If it
does not then please continue to change those settings. Click Finish.
In the list on the left locate and click on Outgoing Server (SMTP).
Click on mail.intermaxnetworks.com in the list then click Edit.
Change the Description and Server Name to say mail.imaxmail.net then
click Ok.
Click on the Ok button and you are all set. You can now get your new imaxmail.net email in Thunderbird. You can close this page when you are finished.
